Brick Kiln Farm Campsite Notes

We want our guests to feel at home and we run a relaxed and trusting environment. So here are a few little pointers just to make your stay a safe and happy one:

How Do We Book?

All bookings are made online where a NON-REFUNDABLE is required. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. Booking made less than 14 days prior to arrival will be required to pay the full holiday amount at the time of booking. Payment is non-refundable for bookings cancelled after 14 days prior to arrival. If the full amount has been paid at the time of booking a transfer of date will be offered or a 50% refund if the booking is cancelled 14 days prior to arrival.

Messages and emails will be answered as soon as possible.

Do You Have A Check In and Out Time?

Unless by prior arrangement – check in is from 3pm until 8pm and check out by 12 noon. We operate a self-check in system when the office is unmanned. On arrival, please check in at The Office. Full instructions will be found there.

Do You Allow Caravans, Motorhomes and Camper Vans?

All are welcome but we do not have any electrical hook-up.

Are Children Welcome?

No, sorry, we are an ADULTS ONLY only campsite.

What Facilities Do You Have?

We have loos and showers that are situated in a converted stable block which are free to use. A booking system for the showers is used between the times of 7.00am and 10.30am. After these times you do not need to book.

Do You Have Kitchen Facilities?

Yes. This is also in the converted stable block area with two sinks. We supply hand soap, hand sanitiser, wipes and disinfectant spray to use before and after use. Washing up liquid is supplied in the kitchen area but you will need to bring your own tea towel or a pack of tea towels can be purchased in the Honesty Shop.

Do You Have A Fridge/Freezer?

You are welcome to use the fridge but please label all food with your surname and dates of your stay. Labels are provided. Please respect that this serves all campers on site so please don’t overfill. Electric cool boxes that need to be plugged in are not permitted.

Do You Have An Undercover Area?

Yes, within the stable block is an undercover area. We also have a marquee with tables and chairs and a table tennis table available for you to use.

Do You Allow Campfires?

Yes, however for Health and Safety reasons, all wood and kindling has to be purchased from us. You are welcome to help yourself to wood and to settle up for this on your departure. Fires must be managed by the camper and extinguished at the end of the evening.

Do You Allow Dogs?

Yes. A maximum of two dogs per pitch are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times and we insist that you clean up after your dog. One dog is included in the pitch rate but the second dog will be charged extra.

Do You Have Electrical Sockets?

Yes – we do in the social area for recharging phones and laptops etc. No cool boxes or any other larger electrical item is allowed to be plugged in and will be switched off.

Do You Have Wifi?

In certain parts of the site, you should get wi-fi, and the code is 7YqhfKgu74IA for BT-Mini-Hub- 1688-2.4GHz.

Do You Allow Music?

No.

Do You Have Curfew Times?

We respectfully ask that the site settles down by 10pm.

Between 9.30pm and 8am there is a vehicle restriction and we ask you to refrain from leaving or entering the site. If you need to leave/arrive within this restriction please arrange for your car to be parked off site.

Do You Have Pets?

There is one dog and three cats on site.

Do You Hire Barbecues?

Yes. We have a barbecue on site that you are welcome to use. We have tools for hire and sell charcoal. We also sell disposable barbecues.

Can We Leave Rubbish?

Please place all rubbish in the bins at the end of the drive. You will find them behind the fence. Please recycle as much as you can in the recycling bins during your stay here.
