A Very Warm Welcome to Brick Kiln Camping

We offer peaceful camping for adults only (18+) in a quiet, rural setting. We do not allow music on site and expect campers to respect our Quiet Policy. Whilst we welcome small group bookings, we actively discourage groups who wish to be up late at night.

Our aim is to make our guests feel at home and comfortable here and a warm and friendly welcome awaits.

Brick Kiln Camping is situated on the outskirts of the village of Campsea Ashe in unspoilt, quiet Suffolk countryside, surrounded by fields. Awake to birdsong. Explore the surrounding countryside. Enjoy the open skies. Build a camp fire at night and look at the dark sky and stars. Absorb the peace and enjoy time away from the busy world.

Our one-acre grass, hedged campsite is suitable for tents, VWs, camper vans, caravans and motor-homes. Please note that we have NO ELECTRICAL HOOKUP.

We offer limited pitches in The Orchard. These can be requested but not always guaranteed.

Each pitch has a firepit and we ask that wood is purchased from the site. This is a Health and Safety requirement.

There is a barbecue available for use on site. Coals can be purchased from us.

We welcome dogs onto the site (maximum of 2 per pitch) as long as they are well behaved and kept on a lead on a tie (or at tie) throughout.

The converted stable block offers a washing up area. There is also a fridge/freezer that you are welcome to use. There is also a kettle, toaster and microwave on site with crockery and cutlery that is free for you to use.

We now also offer a covered area where you can sit comfortably to share meals or play a game of table tennis.

Wi-fi is available although can’t always be guaranteed everywhere on site.

Enjoy a drink and good food in the village pub ‘The Duck’ – Just a walk across the fields.

The Station House is good for breakfast, morning coffee and afternoon tea with homemade cakes.

The Village Shop – just a walk across the fields – is well stocked with long opening hours.

We may be off the beaten track but we are within easy reach of the A12 taking you to famous Suffolk places: Woodbridge, Framlingham, Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold, Minsmere Bird Reserve and Sutton Hoo, to name but a few.

Brick Kiln Farm is owned by Tina, and has been a family home for 30 years.

Bookings and enquiries can be made online via the website, or by 'phone – 07724 210862

I look forward to welcoming you to Brick Kiln. Tina x

What our guests say

“This was a fantastic camping experience. Tina provided an extremely relaxed atmosphere with as much help and advice you could wish for. This type of site is hard to find. Lovely! Thank you.” Paul and Jill

“This is a wonderfully friendly, well equipped site, very close to the lovely town of Woodbridge and to Sutton Hoo where we spent the day. We’ll be back very soon. Thank you Tina!”
Anna and Eva

“What a fantastic campsite… after camping for many years with friends and family we have found the campsite for everyone… Tina you arere the perfect host… We are going to pay another visit within the next few weeks… really love this site…

“For all those guys and girls who surf the internet looking for perfection.. look no further”
Alan Corley

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for your wonderful hospitality over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The entire gang enjoyed it! Our room was wonderful and we are already looking forward to next year!”
John and Andrea

“We stayed in our campervan and had the whole orchard to ourselves and made use of the wooden picnic table and fire pit provided. The toilets and showers were very clean and the water was hot morning and evening. Our gas ran out but we were able to finish cooking by using the well equipped kitchen. In the barn there are sofas and a large table with chairs and electric sockets and spare crockery and pans, games and magazines. We particularly liked all the thoughtful extra touches, like the greenhouse in the orchard with deckchairs, the honesty system for buying firewood etc, the numerous fire pits available for free use, and the relaxed informal feel of the site. Well located for visits to the coast and Woodbridge and for cycling on quiet lanes.”
Jo and Claire
